Anyone working in cybersecurity, especially in security awareness, security culture, or our new favorite buzzword, human risk management, knows that the fall season, particularly October, is our busiest time of the year.
Since joining KnowBe4 almost five years ago, October has been busy for me. One year, I did over 50 presentations, granted it was during COVID, and they were all virtual. Over the past couple of years, and being a road warrior, there have been times when I traveled to multiple cities in one week, delivering presentations at various conferences and organizations. This year is no exception, but my travel and presentation timetable now extends throughout the fall season. Below, I’ve outlined my presentation schedule for folks to see… and, of course, for the OpSec – LOL.
- Dubex Summit – Sept 5 – Dark Side of AI, Copenhagen from 9/4 – 9/7
- Vacation (9/11 – 9/22) – PTO before it’s real crazy!
- InfoSec World – Sept 24 – SBOMs with Michael F. Angelo, Orlando, FL
- Hou.Sec.Con – Sept 25 – AI & the Boardroom, Houston, TX
- Florida Southwestern University – Sept 29, Dark Side of AI, Naples, FL
- CyberCon – Oct 2 – AI & the Boardroom, Bismarck, ND
- ADLC Event – Oct 7 – How Hackers Hack, University of Tampa, FL
- USF ACM Event – Oct 7 – Dark Side of AI, Tampa, FL
- Wild West Hackin’ Fest – Oct 10 – Digital Doppelgänger, Deepfakes & Social Engineering, Deadwood, SD
- ISC2 Security Congress – Oct 15 – AI & the Boardroom, Las Vegas, NV Also attending 10/14-10/17
- Gartner = Oct 23 – AI & the Dark Arts – Orlando, FL
- SecureWV – Oct 25 – Digital Doppelgänger, Deepfakes & Social Engineering, Charleston, WV
- SimplyCyber Con – Nov 1 – TBD
- BSides Copenhagen – Nov 9, Digital Doppelgänger, Deepfakes & Social Media, Copenhagen, Denmark

If you’re attending any of these conferences, please stop by and say hi!
Between now and Thanksgiving, I have the pleasure of being on the road in a different city, helping folks make smarter security decisions every day!
I also accept that there are more intense road warriors than me and with busier schedules, but I’m doing this to write more frequently.
Thanks for stopping by and stay secure!
